Welcome to the Department of Veterinary Parasitology and Entomology. Undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Protozoology, Helminthology and Entomology are taught by the staff of the department. The department currently endowed with well-trained academicians, technologist and technicians. We welcome research collaboration with other researchers worldwide. The vision and mission is to provide high quality Veterinary Parasitology and Entomology education and to deliver the best diagnostic Parasitology services. The department offers MSc in Veterinary Parasitology, with research interest in Distribution of parasites and vectors of veterinary importance in northern Nigeria. Adaptation of parasites and vectors of veterinary importance in arid environments. Trans-border parasites and vectors with optimization of diagnostic parasitological techniques.
