DEPARTMENT OF ESTATE AND MUNICIPAL SERVICES IN BRIEF

The Department of Estate and Municipal Services is located at the maintenance Base, Main Campus of the University. The Department was established in 2013, when the Department of Physical Planning and Maintenance was splitted in to two (2) Departments – Department of Physical Planning and Development and the Department of Estate and Municipal Services. It was to specifically maintain all University Buildings, Roads, Generators, Water Generation and Distribution, Electrical Installation and facilities provided in University in order to enhance conducive Learning, Teaching and Research environment for students and lectures. The Department consist of two (2) Divisions, (Estate and Municipal) and Twelve (12) Units. The Divisions are headed by Deputy Directors and Units by Maintenance officers. Over the years, the Departments have carried out Rehabilitation projects and normal maintenance of the University facilities.
