It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Sokoto Energy Research Centre (SERC), Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto.
Since its establishment in 1982, SERC has remained at the forefront of renewable energy research, innovation, technology development, capacity building and consultancy in Nigeria. As a national Centre of Excellence under the supervision of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, we continue to play a strategic role in advancing clean energy access, supporting national development priorities, strengthening energy transition initiatives, and contributing to sustainable development.
