UDUS Renewable Energy Students Survey Off-Grid Products in Sokoto & Kebbi with CLASP Support
In November 2024, M.Sc. Renewable Energy students conducted a survey on off-grid energy products in Sokoto and Kebbi States, in collaboration with CLASP (the Collaborative Labeling and Appliance Standards Program).
CLASP, an international organization, supports institutions with technical and financial assistance to promote energy efficiency standards and labeling (S&L) for appliances, lighting, and equipment. The Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) M.Sc. programme partnered with CLASP through its ongoing collaboration with the Transforming Energy Access–Learning Partnership (TEA-LP). To facilitate the exercise, CLASP provided a $1,700 grant to cover logistics.
