UDUS joins other partner Universities in Nairobi, Kenya for the TEA-LP Course Uptake Workshop



UDUS was among the 23 new partner universities in attendance at the Transforming Energy Access-Learning Partnership (TEA-LP) Course Uptake Workshop hosted at the Strathmore Business School, Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya from 5 to 9 June 2023. The workshop brought together new and old partner universities from Sub-Saharan African and welcomed new partners from South Asia and the Indo Pacific. The workshop focused on the uptake of the 3 new Master’s level courses developed by the TEA-LP. UDUS will integrate 2 new courses into its M.Sc. Renewable Energy programme. The new courses are: MRE 815: Local Solutions for Energy Access, and MRE 816: Appliances for off-grid communities. UDUS was represented at the workshop by Dr. Misbahu Ladan Mohammed, HOD Energy and Applied Chemistry and Prof. Abdullahi Muhammad Sokoto, a resource person for the new courses.
