Mal A. K. Tsafe

Brief Biography

Abubakar Kabiru Tsafe attended Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) where he obtained BSc. (Ed) Mathematics and proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria – Nigeria to pursue an M.Ed programme in Mathematics Education. Presently, he is on the verge of completing Ph.D. programme in Mathematics Education at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS). Tsafe was employed as Graduate Assistant at the Department of Science and Vocational Education in 2012. Since joining the services of the University, he taught, supervise and mentored students from different backgrounds. To his credit, Tsafe attended conferences (local and international) and presented papers and had over thirty (30) publications in peer reviewed, reputable academic journals.Tsafe is a member of Mathematical Association of Nigeria (M.A.N), National Mathematical Society (N.M.S) and a registered member of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). Since his appointment, Tsafe served in various administrative capacities and committees both at the Department and Faculty. This include: Undergraduate Project Coordinator (2012-2016), Member Departmental Research Focus Committee (2012),
