Professor Abdullahi Mohammed Kabir is a distinguished scholar and a pragmatic entrepreneur who stands as a regional authority in the field of Agribusiness. He is currently the only Professor of Agribusiness serving the entire axis of Sokoto, Kebbi, and Zamfara States.

A "Teacher of Teachers," Professor Kabir’s career reflects a deep commitment to the Nigerian education system, having risen through the ranks from a Grade II Teacher in primary schools to becoming a University Professo. His approach to academia is uniquely practical; he combines deep theoretical knowledge with over 30 years of hands-on entrepreneurial experience, having started his business journey long before assuming university leadership.

He holds the distinction of being the first person in the history of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) to serve simultaneously as a Double Director, leading both the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) and the Career Service Centre.

A 21st-century academic, Professor Kabir bridges the gap between agriculture and technology.
