Dr. N.I.Muktar

Brief Biography
Dr.Nura Ibrahim Mukhtar was born in the ancient city of Kano, Kano State, Nigeria in the last fifty years (50). He attended Federal College of Education, Kano, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Bayero University, Kano. He has a PhD in Adult Education with specialisation in Community Development. He has teaching and research experience of over twenty years in both post-primary, college and university. He has over twenty local and international publications including books, book chapters and journal articles. He served in various administrative positions like Departmental Teaching Practice Coordinator, Level Coordinator UGI and he is the current Departmental Examinations Officer of Adult Education and Extension Services Department for two terms. His research interest includes, and not limited to, community participation in the management of education, community development and morality, community-based participatory research and social responsibility and history of community development in Sub- Saharan Africa.
