Dr. M. I. Abdullahi
Musa I Abdullahi graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria in 1984, MSc in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Control from Kings College University of London and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from ABU in 2012.
He has had a Public working experience as Pharmacist in Sokoto and Kebbi State and, as Consultant to the defunct Petroleum Trust Fund PTF, Federal Ministry of Health, DFID, UNICEF, WHO and the World Bank.
His teaching carrier started in 1090s at the School of Health Technology Jega, Kebbi State. He’s presently teaching in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry.
He is a Reader with specialization in Natural Product Chemistry.
He has successfully supervised and mentored many students both at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, attended and presented papers at local and International conferences and has over 47 Publications in peer reviewed Journals, to his credit.
He is a Reviewer to Nigerian Journal of Pharmaceutical Research (NJPS), British Journal of Pharmaceutical Research (BJPR), Journal of Medicinal Plants Research (JMPR) and Editorial Consultant to Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacy Practice, amongst others.
