Sokoto Energy Research Centre

Sokoto Energy Research Centre is a research centre at the permanent site of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.  It is an inter-disciplinary body composed of members of staff drawn from various faculties especially the Faculty of Science.  The centre has five research units viz:

●       Photovoltaic Unit
●       Biomass Unit
●       Solar and Wind Unit
●       Meteorological Unit and
●       Small hydropower Unit.
