ABOUT ACCOUNT DEPARTMENT

In the defunct Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration of the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, there was a department known as the “Department of Management Sciences”.  In 2001/2002 session, the department was upgraded to become the “Faculty of Management Sciences”.  Accounting is one of the three departments constituting the Faculty of Management Sciences.  The Department runs a BSc. Accounting  Porogramme prepared by a committee of experts based on the NUC guidelines.  The programme commenced with the take off of the Department and the Faculty.
